Terms of service

The service
SearchNex ("we", "us") provides the SearchNex reporting tool (the "service"). Marketing agencies (our "customers") use it to collect and report on their client businesses' search data from Google products, together with those businesses' CRM and sales data. Where a customer has a separate written agreement with us, that agreement takes precedence over these terms.
Businesses that grant access
When a business adds data@searchnex.com to its Google products, or links them to SearchNex, it authorises us to collect that data through Google's APIs and exports so its agency can report to it. The business can withdraw that authorisation at any time by removing the access; collection stops from that point. How we handle the data is set out in our privacy policy.
Customer responsibilities
- Connect only accounts the customer, or the business it acts for, is entitled to connect.
- Use the service and its reports lawfully and only for the business's own reporting and marketing decisions.
- Keep sign-in access to the service limited to authorised people.
- Do not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or overload the service.
Google products
The service relies on Google's APIs and exports. Google's own terms continue to apply to each Google product, and we cannot control their availability, limits or changes. When Google withholds or delays data, the service shows that the data is missing rather than estimating it.
Data ownership
Each business keeps ownership of its data. We use it only to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy, and delete it when access ends or on request.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available and accurate, but provide it "as is", without warranties beyond those the law requires. We may change or improve the service, and we will give customers reasonable notice of changes that materially affect them.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made using the service's reports. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending use
A customer may stop using the service at any time. A business may remove our access at any time. We may suspend access that breaches these terms. After use ends, data is deleted as set out in the privacy policy.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top. Questions go to support@searchnex.com.
